Mike Howat is a NH-based painter. His work explores collective memory, Americana and urban isolation. Since earning his B.F.A. from New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2014, he has been actively engaged in the New England art scene and exhibits regularly in galleries across the country. When not in his studio, he’s likely wandering the coast or the White Mountains.
This piece is from Mike’s ETA34 collection, Nightdrive. In Mike’s own words: “This recent series of nightscapes and storefronts chase the ambiguously familiar. The series of paintings pull from my own memories of overnight roadtrips and stumbling into places that feel oddly familiar despite never have been there. Abandoned storefronts, empty small towns, headlights on the highway all seem part of a contemporary American vernacular and collective memory.”

Returns
Due to multiple entities, including the factory and the warehouse, we are unable to effectively manage inventory. So the actual stock may change at any time. It is possible that stocks could be depleted after the order has been made.
Our policy lasts for a period of 30 days. However, if thirty days have passed after you bought your item, we cannot offer you a return or exchange.
To be considered eligible for return it must be in its original packaging, unopened and in the condition you received it in. The item should be returned in its original packaging.
